From Social Work to Visual Arts
My journey began in the Netherlands, where I spent 17 years as a caseworker in Eindhoven. While that chapter was about supporting people, my move to the United States sparked a new passion: visual storytelling.
I launched my freelance graphic design business in New York State in 2001, eventually taking my skills to the University of Wyoming. There, I spent nine years as a web- and graphic designer for the Wyoming Extension. Today, I’ve come full circle back to the East Coast, settling in Rhode Island and expanding my creative lens into the world of photography.
Capturing the Natural World
In 2022, I published my first photo book—a curated collection of my favorite avian subjects. From the intensity of a hunting osprey to the delicate vibrance of a hummingbird, I strive to capture the grace of the creatures that share our world. The book is available for purchase online.
